Kathy is SVP, Marketing for Havertys Furniture, a home furnishings retailer with over 120 showrooms in 16 states.
Kathy offers a unique perspective on branding and marketing in both the online and offline worlds. Her career started in traditional agencies before moving into the digital world after earning her MBA. At The Weather Channel she created the original weather.com. She has developed interactive marketing and businesses for brands including The Coca-Cola Company, BellSouth and NIKE.
At The Home Depot, she served as a Director, Multi-Channel Marketing and launched the company’s first DTC brand, One Crescent Lane. She then spent more than seven years at Google, leading a team focused on connecting Big Box retailers with emerging capabilities in digital technologies.
Kathy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and MBA from Emory University.
